Forfeit a battle any time

There's no reason not be able to get to the menu any time while in a battle instead of only when it's your turn. Nothing on the menu is turn specific (Tips, Audio, Auto, Keyboard Bindings, or Forfeit) so there's no reason to make us sit thru 8-10-20 turns of the computer. There are times it's faster to kill the entire game & reload than it to sit thru the computer's turn before you can exit the battle.

When the solution is hard reset the app, there's an issue worth considering.

That can also be a non-solution in some cases. The most famous being Nightsister Acolyte versus the rebels in stage 6 of DSTB, where the enemy can end up in an infinite loop where you never get a turn, but if you reset the app, you lose honestly-earned points at the loss of the team.

Aren't you supposed to still earn the points for the waves you already beat up until a crash/reset? I thought that it was implemented last spring.

It was? Huh. Missed that one.

Still, having to force quit the app to get out of an infinite loop in any case is not ideal.

I'm also talking about making a bad choice in arena. There are times you pick the wrong opponent, you get a turn, then due to the other team's speed/TM increase synergy/assists the AI gets 10 or 15 turns in a row while you sit there waiting for all your toons to die. As soon as you realize you've made a mistake you should be able to accept the loss & forfeit but you can't, you have to just sit there & wait.
