Have we ever had an explanation as to why the Scoundrel Orientated events start at a different time from other events nor show up in the event list ahead of time?

They have always been "random" events recurring every 6-11 days. They used to start at random times as well. One time the event rolled past them "reset" time and some were able to run the Credit Heist twice. Since then they locked the start time.

The scoundrel events show up at different times to all the other events to encourage more screen time. It’s why there’s payouts and free energy and shop refreshes.

Don’t know if it’s the same for other time zones but there happens to be nothing to do in game for me when the smuggler events launch so it’s nice to play the late event, get rewards and look at stuff again.
