    9/15 attempts on Nest.
So on an 80% chance node I am currently achieving less than 66% success.
    Small sample though.

    Update,
    Bought a refresh.
    Ran Nest again 1/1.
So on Nest I achieved 10/16.
62.5% success at an 80% chance.
Then ran Young Lando and achieved 5/6.
    83.3% success at a 64% chance

So 416 energy spent for 15 shards.
At 4% I should be at 16.6 shares.
    Just below average now.

Still a small sample but averaging out as it should.

    *edit, added success chances
  • I spent 930 energy the first night, and got 37 shards which is about 3.98%.

Of 3000 energy used, I made 15 pulls with an average of 7.33 blueprints per 200 (I did all 10 nodes). That’s slightly worse than the simulation of 6.4 per 160 pull.

  • The drop rate in fleet nodes for ECS is exactly what CG said it would be. Everyone in my guild is getting between 6/8 and 8/8 when they sim the 20 energy nodes.

    I’m 55/1475, so about 3.7% for me.

Got a 0/8 and 8/8 at various points.

Lol I think your maths are jes a lil WAY off there

I think my math is fine. 55 shards returned for (actually) 1470 energy consumed. That's a 3.74% drop rate if you want to be a 'lil' more precise.

    Got em
  • Me and a friend both spent 800 energy worth he has 47 shards and I have 29 shards. Good rng
  • 2162 energy, 95 shards or 4.4%. Doing better than expected :)
  • Mines been very close to 4%. I unlocked it and am 15/65 to 5* with about 2500 energy spent. While I’m lagging the percentages I feel so much better knowing the good people at CG can put food on the table for another night

    unlocked around 2kenergy
  • I enjoy these threads about rng. I'm actually right on the 4% right now at 43 in 1056 energy. But rng can be a misunderstood and may not be random at all. A few years ago a couple of friends and I walked into a casino in Vegas. They were just taking the ropes down on a large group of slot machines. They're random right? Not exactly. We proceeded to figure out the pattern and took every one of those machines for $28.50. That's factoring the money we had to put into it too. I was a bit surprised they didnt kick us out. rng is getting better but do I ever trust it? Not a chance. Oh and my rng drop rate on all other fleet energy shards today? Exactly 25%. Sion was higher (50% on 8 sims) and Sith fighter (12.5% with 16 sims) lower but it worked out to 14 shards in 56 sims.. so whoever got their 41% drop rate to get the supposed average claimed here, I'd say your welcome but wouldn't mean it... Give me back my shards!!! :)
  • On a 20 energy node, the 1rst 8 try, I got 7.
    Then I add 4 more, I got 2.
    And 4 more, got 0...

Rng is not truely rng in games. It's kinda random enough. It pulls out of a set of patterns repeated endlessly and gets handed out to whomever is the next in line. Since you are not the only one pulling it, the overall result is a statistical distribution that closes up to the intended droprate as the samples get higher.

  • 0 refresh yesterday 7 shard.
9x 10 energy 7 shards +4 stun gun salv today
    Bought 600 ship energy today:
Got 24 shards + 20 stun gun salv
A fairly reasonable price tbh, for the gun salv alone.

I'm currently at 150 shards / 3,698 energy spent - a drop rate of 4.05%, so that marries up with the published drop rate of 4%.

I'm on track to finish this cycle at 170-171 shards (25 or 26/85), which puts me in good stead to 7* it if the next cycle is also 5 days. I sense that the CG swifty will be pulled and they'll make the next cycle 4 days rather than 5, because the accountants won't like players maxing it within two cycles.

My crystal investment for this cycle will be:
    - 800 crystals to preload energy (6 x 100 + 200)
    - 600 crystals for the energy pack
    - 1,500 in energy refreshes (5 x 3 x 100)

That's a total of 2,900 crystals for let's say - 170 shards. All up, an investment of 17.06 crystals per shard. I think that's a very good ROI compared to most shard farms.

    Higher than bastilla shard.
Usually I got 1 bastilla shard and 3 ep shuttle shard every 5 attempt...
