Can we have a clone rework?

Prev1
Now we have a grevious and separatist rework can we give clones some love?

It looks like separatist droids will destroy Jedi, so to keep the rock, paper, scissors plan going we need some clones to destroy droids.

General kenobi rework with an overhaul for clones that deals bonus damage to separatists and droids would be awesome

Can’t fight against Jedi on their own, yet killed far more Jedi than any other force has?
  • I’d love it if we could get a prequel TW. Maybe the battle of geonosis.

To score hugest you’d need separatists and clones.

Order 66 was not "fighting Jedi" - it was shooting them (often in the back) unexpectedly while they were in vulnerable positions. The Jedi were probably emotionally compromised too, as their trusted loyal allies turned on them, leading to distractions.

If those same Jedi had come face to face with the clones in an actual battle, it would have likely been very different.

The concept is about numbers vs talent. Sure 5 Jedi vs 5 clones Jedi should win. But when you stack up more numbers Jedi can win.

That’s what the separatist faction is sort of about. B1 showing waves of endless droid.

No, he was stunned by one of them and imprisoned. They were forced to retreat from the planet as the Separatists were pushing them back hard, and one of the clones shot him while he was restrained in his cell. So he was killed by a clone, just not in battle.

So because they used tactics and local creatures to capture him it doesn't count? Sure the creature held him down but they still needed to get him over there so it could.

True , in terms of the Star Wars universe , as order 66 was betrayal & mutiny. Obviously one on one the clones would get killed. That aside , the game doesn’t care about that , otherwise the droids wouldn’t be about to take over the game. Clones have just as much right to be a dominator if the droids can be. Remember gg is really just a coward who runs and hides , and the nightsisters are way to strong for Halloween characters. C3po couldn’t ever do anything in a battle , and boba fett would suck just like he does in the movies.
The game doesn’t care about what would actually happen in a movie ect , because it would be no fun that way.

Clone wars has a new season coming out , so I’d think clones getting some love could be likely. Would be a nice balance to the droids.

It just shows that enough RNG can allow a whole bunch of clones to capture a Jedi.

There aren't really parallels between true lore and the game in terms of "effectiveness." I was arguing that Clones "killed more Jedi than any other faction" through betrayal, not actual combat - and a single instance of clones capturing or killin one Jedi does not mean that the exception proves the rule.

Clones were effective at what the did, but they weren't Jedi hunters.

And we aren't asking them to be good against jedi but with them. To take on Droids, not the jedi. And to do that they need a rework currently.

Pong Krell: Sadistic and tyrannical general who lead the clones on the mysterious planet of Umbara never concerned about casualties- only results. Rightfully usurped in the end by clones dedicated to a cause higher than themselves and their immediate leader.

Basic ability: General’s Orders - strikes an enemy and applies speed down. exposes them if he attacks out of turn - Krell will hit first after the initial event. Omega- any enemy unit not hit at the end of their turn will be attacked by Krell. If Krell attacks in this way a random clone is exposed.

Full Frontal Assault: speed up, damage up, and defense penetration up for 1 (omega) 2 turns. Tenacity and defense down for 2. 3 turn CD

Jedi Besalick’s Rampage: deal special damage to all enemies staggering and (omega) exposing them. 4 turn CD

Carnage of Krell (leadership): for every debuff suffered my the clones, clones tenacity and critical chance goes up by 5%. At the end of Krell’s round all debuffs are cleared but at the expense of 10% health per debuff. Krell gains 5% health per debuff on clones. Zeta- 5% health needed to clean per debuff, all clones get +20 speed and +10% base critical chance. These bonuses expire with Krell. Rex’s cleanse will reset the tenacity and critical chances if used

Traitor of the Galactic Republic: while Krell is alive, he will force the highest health clones to taunt for him (up to 2) for 2 turns if befow 50% health. If Rex is present and clears this taunt, Krell will be forced to taunt for 2 turns. Any debuff sustained by these clones will grant him the opposite if it exists. Zeta, a third clone will taunt for him. Once defeated, all of these buffs are granted to the clones for 3 turns.

Theme is to make high risk-reward situation with Krell controlled by Rex

Droids will have their day for a long old time. I have a 7* grevious too and super excited to use him.

I’d just like there to be the clones for the role play. Maybe even bigger than the 5v5. So we could have a massive battle going like the best parts of the prequels.

  • GK needs new unique ability called "Hello There" which would require Zeta and would kill GG instantly leaving his army of droids to fight the battle.

I just don't get all the hype about droids and separatist as they were just tool used by Palpatine to divide Republic on his way to create Empire. Most of them ended up being cannon fodder for Jedi in Episode 2 and those who survived and escaped (like poor Dooku) got hunted down by Palpatine.
But now apparently they are "Jedi Killers" What a joke.
