Platoons in TB make no sense and overlaps with the combat mission

Is it logical having to fill the platoons with Shore and Deathtrooper, while in a mission you need (surprise!!!) to use General Veers as leader?? IMO is bad level design. And don't even say "but you can use other empire characters, like Vader or Palps or another character required in platoons". Forcing one to use teams with low sinergies is really a nonsense
Edit: Not only Shore and Death, but they also ask for lots of Krennic, TFP, Palps, Gar Saxons, Tarkins, RG, ST, Magma... When asking for a combat mission with BH there's not a single one to fill in platoons, and now this?

It's definitely a struggle when there are a limited number of Empire toons, and the platoons require a good chunk of the good ones.

The Light Side TB is similar though - platoons require a large number of Rebel characters, and then the combat requires Rebels (either Phoenix, Rogue 1, or general Rebels).

The main difference is that there are 33 different characters with Rebel tags, and only 18 for Empire. So...your guild really has to "spread" the platoon donations around to not cripple any one player.
