Hermit Yoda's strengthen through the force protection question

I may have asked this question before but I dont think I ever got a definite answer. Whenever hermit Yoda uses strength through the force it says that all allies recover some protection and health. Does he gain anything from this? I know his basic attack only applies to other allies but the wording on this ability is a little unclear to me. It just seems odd that he wouldn't benefit from at least one of his skills.

He does indeed gain full benefits. The key wording they use in ability descriptions is “all allies” (which includes that character) and “all other allies” (excludes that character).
