R2 vs bb8 which is the better droid?

I currently run jedi Rey and bb8 as part of my squad arena team but since they are the only 2 resistance toons I run I'm not sure if i should swap out bb8 for r2 for the stat boosts and aoe attack and high stun.

What team do you run? In a JTR team both R2 & BB8 are supposed to be part of the team.

I'd recommend running JTR/BB8/R2 plus GK/Holdo/Thrawn/Nest in the other 2 spots.

A JTR team needs bb8.
R2 is highly recommended, but not as crucial. Still JTR/bb8/r2 is the core of the team

If you're running a JTR team where JTR and BB8 are the only two resistance toons you're doing something wrong and unnatural imo.

R2 is crafty and gets out of a lot of hairy situations, but BB8 gets on top of Gatlin Gun wielding robots and blasts people down.

1v1 BB8 wins.

Team wise R2 has more utility.
