Why isn’t there better communication with this game. Why all the secrecy? Is leaving the players in the dark really generating additional revenue? We find out about the Ebon Hawk the day of the event. Still no timeline on DR. The timeline you guys did for the GG and Separatist Droid rework last month was awesome. Why can’t we have the same thing this month, for KOTOR? The puzzles, misinterpreted tweets, cryptic messages by devs, etc are not communication. I was excited about DR and the panic farm a few weeks ago. Now, it’s radio silence as usual. The community is fed up with being left in the dark. You have a five year plan, that’s awesome, but why can’t you share a bit with us?

They don't strike me as a development shop that has more than a a few months planned out in advance. That said, it's also not in their interests to give us a roadmap of upcoming character releases in advance. If we knew for example every upcoming event and character release for the next 3 months, most of us would plan our farms accordingly and minimize crystal expenditures. This would be a significant hit to their revenue. Remember this isn't the game model we grew up with. Back in the day there was a certain prestige in creating a piece of gaming art and being critically acclaimed. These days its all about cranking out games predicated on manipulating addictive personalities through frustration and raking in the dough. Player enjoyment is actually counter-productive.
@Kyno ...of course Darth Revan is coming. Don't scare people! However no one from CG or EA has given a timeline. I personally believe the 3 zeta Gammoreon Guard "leak" was a purposely orchestrated decision to get everyone excited and farming. There is nothing wrong with that at all, it was clever if intentional and still fun if unintentional. Everyone is making way too many assumptions and guesses and getting mad when they are not validated. Anyways, all will be revealed "soon."

The point is the missing timeline, not if DR is coming... The timeline argument is Ebon Hawk was announced the same day
There has to be some secrecy so they can announce the event and have people panic buy and farm. That’s how they create revenue and they essentially gave a clue with the Ebon Hawk video and HK saying something about serving his master. Just farm the kotor characters and you should be okay. They have fair communication it’s better than any mobile game I’ve played.

You lot are the reason the communication is perceived as bad. The communication is fine on the games end. Do you want to have everything written out and planned months in advance for the game ? All that will do is make you complain there is no surprises.
Any change in the game suddenly turns into speculation , more often wrong than right. The forum gets flooded with stupid guesses and rumours. Then because of the nature of the people who speculate as soon as their theory is proven wrong , They make up something else and explain the already speculated “info” in another way.
We aren’t in the dark. We all knew that greev and droids were getting better. Then you lot said he’s going to be a revan killer and dominate arena. Then suddenly you’re not happy and they communicated poorly because he couldn’t ? They never said he would , you just told yourselves that.
Do I need to give you more examples on clear communication that got **** up by players like you ?
The execution of all of these things was the problem. Every big release is bungled so horribly the community has to speak up.
I see where you're coming from but this is a bit pesso. Some games are exactly as you say, but i think cg strike a pretty good balance.
I really enjoy this game and have spent about the same amount as i did on blizzards Diablo series.
2. I hope Darth Revan comes and we can move on from kotor. Not for any whiney reasons , I’m just not as invested into these toons. But happy for you fans.
3. DK- funny but not really true. The forums are filled with many people. Many voices. But it is funny remembering people say “bring in kotor and take my money!”

The only reason the execution happened is because the community demanded it. So they were forced to shove it at us.
People wanted them to be good, but CG went overboard with how much powe they had. Revan totaly broke the game. Look at the swgoh.gg meta report and the post about the servers breaking from too many people getting him.
Also, why would you name Jedi Revan as Jedi Revan, if there was no other version incoming?
Why not just call him Revan, like literally everyone everywhere in the games.
The Jedi tag only makes sense if we'll have another version.

Yes, the community wanted these toons, and CG delivered, but they did a major error related to every single launch. GG is the most notable where he was shown to hit twice as much as he actually can. Also, we wanted Jedi Revan, but we never wanted him to be ridiculously op, rendering everything else useless.
If there werent these major errors (that could have been easily foreseen), the forumers wouldnt have breb complaining.
That said, do we have information on the upcoming territory war boni?
That's one thing the communication could be better. Guess there will be always things to improve

The forumers will always complain, no matter what CG decides to do. There is a select group of people on this forum that feels the need to criticize everything that EA/CG does, and I understand that they aren’t the best game making companies, but at least they try, and they’ve kept the game running with updates consistently for 3 years. And I seem to remember many people demanding Revan be OP because he is supposed to be very powerful in KOTOR and the books. People will complain both ways. Was GG disappointing? Yes. Could this have been expected because CG would make less money off of him than Revan? Also yes. Look, communication has never been great, but I blame that on a pessimistic community that apparently wants to see the game fizzle and die. Your rude insult proves that you are in this toxic group, and feel the need to personally attack anyone opposing you.
