How is the winner of the rancor raid determined?

I’ve been told by EA that the person with the best “performance” is given the top spot. Does anyone have any insight to how this is done? I have screen shots from a guild member proving the order is random at the beginning and then ranked by if you solo it or not.

That's just nonsense and totally random from the start. If you have the same amount of points like someone else there's nothing you can do to 'better perform'. What the advice means is 'The more points you have, the higher your rank', simply as that. But raids never were meant to have max points on multiple people.

  • When you click "JOIN" you're randomly sorted onto the list that's shown during the join period.

Once the raid is complete people are slotted in the following two ways, IN ORDER:

    Method 1 - Most Damage

Method 2 - Equal Damage but sorted based on JOIN LIST position

Example: two players hit join right at the start of the JOIN PERIOD for the Rancor Raid. Player A gets spot #8, Player B gets spot #19. Regardless of WHEN they hit join, it's all random where you get slotted in.

Once the raid is done, the game checks Method 1 and then Method 2 from above.

If A & B both solo the entire Rancor, Player A sits higher than B on the victory list.

If B does more damage than A, he's ahead.

If all 50 people in a Guild solo the raid, the REWARDS LIST will exactly match the JOIN LIST. The only time it doesn't is when people don't solo or they don't contribute and post ZERO dmg.
