I know very little about Fleet strategy and fleet arena. What should my fleet arena squad be?

Best thing to do would be farm Hound's Tooth and gear up Bossk. It's THE TANK in the current meta. Tie Silencer and Tie Advanced should be good for a powerful opening.

Biggs, FO TIE, and TIE Advanced is a good beginner starting lineup. Both TIEs provide target locks to keep Biggs taunting and topped off on protection.

Poe, Silencer and Plo Koon are all great reinforcements - Poe and Silencer hit hard, and Plo's reinforcement power can top off your whole squad and keep everyone in fighting shape. Toss Phantom II in there as well since it has arguably the best reinforcement power in the game (lets you reinforce two turns in a row), and use it whenever you don't need one of the others immediately.
