So How Does Grand Arena Determine A Winner When The Score Is Tied?

I had this match, first match of Grand Arena where I didn’t attack him and he didn’t attack me. Neither of us had any failures or success at attacking each other. Somehow he got the Win and I got Loss. Now next Match comes, I win and he loses his. Now he is still sitting ahead of me but both of us have 1 point as far as rank goes. I assume he is probably sitting ahead cause he beat me in our match.

My real question is, what determines who wins on a tie? When it is all said and done do the total number points you accumulate through out the matches add up? How does it rank all the 1 and 2 Point Players?
