EP lead blowing up in arena meta report

According to swgoh.gg's meta report (https://swgoh.gg/meta-report/) almost 25% of all #1 leads are EP?

What has happened? is it Badstilla making EP viable again?

Replies

  • Yep, it's mostly Badstila. Many are also running HK and sometimes even undergeared Darth Revans under a Palpatine lead, despite their lack of synergy with him. They're just too good against Jedi.

Not really if you consider that this one toon (Badstila) transforms a dusty Nightmare Sith team into a lean, mean Jedi-killing machine that walks all over Bastila on offense and can even take on weaker JKR teams.

But still... if EP+badstilla can only take on weaker JKR teams, how can they take #1? and how come Traya was pushed so far down the list of leaders?

Lack of synergy? Darth Revan is a sith who relies on debuffs... I'd say there's plenty of synergy at place. Literally the only lead that would be better in most situations is Darth Revan's own leader ability. Hence the 25% Palp meta.

If you look at the squad breakdown - most of those EP squads also include Darth Revan. DR fits EP lead very well. Even without DR EP-FBS teams is counter for both JKR and Sith Empire teams, and it's only better with DR.

run the jkr team, with bastila lead, and you burn them in less than a min

You're right, he has the Sith faction too. I thought he only had the Sith Empire tag. Then it's only HK who lacks synergy with Palpatine.

Maybe they can take top-ranking JKR teams too with the right mods. On my shard, I don't see any Nightmare / Sith Empire hybrid squads in the top 10.
