Mod slicing materials

We have added mod slicing materials to Shipments. To celebrate, these materials will be offered at a reduced price for a limited time. We’ll notify you when their pricing returns to normal via patch notes.

Has anyone looked at these prices? I’m not sure how they come up with them. For the few materials you get you’re far better off just using sims. You’d get the same amount for less crystals along with an added bonus of some credits. And these are the reduced prices. Why would anyone buy them?

They said in the same post that they are indeed more expensive than simming and that they are added for people who want to farm them even faster.
It's an update for those who wouldn't stop at 50 crystal refreshes.

Speed always costs more. Reduced price doesn't mean below or equal to the farming price, it means lower than it will be later when it's at full price for the convenience of farming them faster.
