Malak - what am I doing wrong?

I've been trying for some time now, recording every once in a while. I'm not seeing any progress, I've read through guides and watched videos. From folks that have succeeded; what am I doing wrong?

You look like you’ve got most the strategy correct.

How are your Revan and Bastilla modded? They looking to be taking a while to kill the droids. I know mine would kill a droid between the strategic advantage Bastilla/Revan combo without an armour shred on them.

I’d also let Malak take the tenacity up buff as well so Big Z and Mission don’t get fear (armour shred ignores tenacity up).

For the early videos I had them modded for speed, but I switched towards offense in the later videos... I may just not have good enough mods...

For me the zeta on Mission helped a lot. I almost always called big Z to assist (with Jolee or Bastila), so Mission always put in her damage as well (unless she had the Fear debuff), thus the droids went down faster, and I had a little more time to damage the pods. And I used Strategic Advance as much as possible with Bastila+Revan. Only use Revan's mass attack when Malak is taunting, and give TM to Bastila, so she can get rid of the taunt with Subvert Defenses, and you don't have to hit Malak. It's also good to give Buff Immunity to Malak so he can't taunt.

RNG finally worked in my favor; letting Malak get both crit immunity and tenacity up helped a lot. This last run, I was lucky and mission lasted a lot longer, which helped enormously. Thank you to those that offered advice.
