There's limited enough content in ships still that you'll get there in reasonably short order. Ship credits are already a currency that, if not for the mod shop, you could actually run out of uses for in a reasonable timeframe.

Depends on how much you like ships.

Do you run one fleet or get multiple for TW and other events?

We get a daily dose of credits in the form of GW. I'm not asking for even the same in ships, just an occasional ship credit heist.

As you said, they still have uses for mods anyways.

It's not a "depends" situation. You can get enough currency to max multiple full fleets in a comfortable time span with the amount of ship credits we get right now. There isn't a ton of content there.

The mod shop accepting ship credits is not a feature that was added as a primary use for ship credits. It was added as a sink to bleed the excess credits.

Functionally, there is no need for a ship credit heist.

Yes, heaven forbid newer players get a nice, occasional burst that keeps them interested in the game.
