The first few GA matchups I was in were lopsided to say the least,( but kinda expected for a new game mode)
Then the evened out for a few weeks and I was facing pretty evenly matched opponents with even rosters.
Mind you, I usually finish 3-4th and am pretty decent when it comes to stats.
And then, for the last 3 GA's I have been matched with the following opponents.
Each of these opponents are at least 200k gp more than me and most have 14-20 gold characters( one person had 9 and the strongest had 26)
I am not complaining and I already won Round 1, and still usually finish top 4 but are these matchups a result of an individual outperforming their GP class so the algorithm moved them up?
Or are these just matchmaking trends that occur regardless of skill?

Is that the only stat used for match-making?
Seems to be, there was 100k difference (at lock) between me and a couple of opponents this time, but are character GPs are as close as they can be.
But is it the only stat?
Who knows? They've never been transparent with any matchmaking algorithms.
They love to make it seem like it's complicated, but i wouldn't be suprised if it's just GP for GA. Maybe some other factors for TW because they've "tweaked" those according to themselfes.
