Won't load. "Checking for updates"

Anyone had this problem and or solution?
I've cleared the cache and uninstalled and reinstalled it but to no avail.
I've been trying for over 8 hours

Happened to me in the summer just randomly starts working again tbh. I mean after u did all that I guess just wait.
