5th resistance attacker, res pilot or trooper? Also a couple other resistance questions

some pros and cons to both, pilot easier farm can do big damage iirc, both gain tm and can expose, a little torn here, gut tells me trooper is likely somewhat better due to more exposes and i think then more tm gain but not sure, and man i really can't afford to spend guild coin on him or energy on yet another single node

two more kind of unrelated questions, is holdo viable 3 star? is the finn zeta still worth it? on a full team, if enemy with 1 expose damaged, all gain 15% tm?

I agree with trooper. And I think the are plenty of better Zetas.

She won't tank as well, but will still dish out aoe daze and heals. Might as well try it.
I wouldn't zeta Finn, mostly because JTR exsists and is a better lead. I'd save for her, or throw on another Res toon (bb8, r2) or just another team in general

That's the team I use for Sith P1 with much better results than any other I tried
Reworked Finn can do 75k dmg with special once it reaches the 500%

Way more than 75k actually. Mine does 145k at just G9. Have seen others at G12 over 200k.

People who say the Finn zeta is bad, do you actually have it?

I want to hear from people who have it and have a good team around it. I'd like to do it myself but I'm not sure if it does well.

I have it, inreapplied it after the rework , cuz meh already spent,, it assuredly is nowhere near as useful as it was, and frankly not as useful as one would hope in its new version ,

Chasing the expose train now, kinda works if all goes well. Not at all like a person was used to previously lol, and if you miss an expose now, you are pretty much toast unless you get insanely lucky.

I redid mine also for the ship factor, but strictly standalone usage, it is now absolutely in the category of luxury zeta of low importance. Nowhere near must do or well worth doing.

I re-zeta'd because I was dependent on it for a lot. I would say what it pays off depends on your expectations. You won't be above 400 arena rank on a good shard with zfinn

That has been true for a very long time. I want to know if it's still a viable TW and GA team with the zeta. Pre-change, my zFinn Poe RT RP Rose team was fantastic, even with RT being my only toon above G10. Rose was G8 lol. Didn't matter because the other side didn't get a turn. Now I'm sure that's not possible, but I'm wondering if the team can still hit those game modes well with a little more gear.

I don't have it but I have seen reports. If you have a g12 team around him it's very good if you don't don't apply or build a team for it.

I’m going to go against the grain here. I would suggest Pilot. Reason being as follows:

1. You really can go either Trooper or Pilot, but pilot has a ship. With Ep IX comes Resistance and FO Capital ships and other ships from this era, guaranteed. Might as well get ready now.
2. They both have similar mechanics. Their chance to apply expose is the same I think, and under JTR it doesn’t really matter anyways cause you’re going to applying expose all the flippin time. Troopers special is better cause it removes buffs, and that’s good for DN but again, Pilot has a ship and they both do similar damage, which is really what you want (BB8 and JTR also clear buffs).
3. Do you have R2? If no, work on getting him as a priority. He helps take the team to whole new levels. If yes, get him in there.
4. Holdo? No. For now, stay away. Maybe with Ep IX she will somehow get better, but who knows.
5. Don’t Zeta Finn. You’ll never use him again cause of JTR when you get here. Give it to another faction if you already have BB8 zeta’d.

RT's biggest thing is his unique that gains TM. Pilot is way worse.

I put the Zeta back on Fin to use him in 3v3s for a second resistance team. It is not as good as JTR, and won't be viable in most any other situation.
