T3M4 and its ally healing skill

My t3m4 is currently undergeared at the moment and 7 starred but I just wanted to know if its healing ability which recovers health and protection to a droid ally also applies to itself.

yes, you can select t3 with that ability and heal him

He works super well with L337. You can just have L3 taunt and they can heal each other up back and forth while your attackers do damage.
