If I had to guess that counter would indicate how many times you reached that division during the lifetime of your game. IIRC they said each GAC season would allow you to rank up through the divisions and then reset for the next GAC? I dunno, too lazy to look it up, but that's how I interpret it.
Current Championship Rank = the rank you hold NOW
Division = the Division in which you are now
(points counter) Lifetime = how many you have accumulated from the start of GAC until the present moment
If it is rank rather than points, it would mean HIGHEST ATTAINED HISTORICALLY.
Example, it may take 10 points to move from division A to division B, and having won 12 points I would move to division B and rank, say, 198th there. Lets say there have been 50 championships to date and I have made on average 30 points from each, then I would see:
Current Rank: 198
Division: B
Lifetime points: 1512 (30 x 50 historically + 12 running total for current championship)
OR Lifetime Rank: 102 (best rank ever achieved)
It will only be a competition between whales to show everyone who spent the most to have the required character (DR + Malak) or the Gears (G13 + Kyros) or the number of 6 dot mod you have with +25 speed
It's not a skill championship...
Or the skill to remember by heart your CB password...
