Corrupted battle mediation and ensuing debuff

I’m pretty new to the dreven meta this go around but I’m no stranger to top 10 in arena. My badstilla and dreven have both g12+ peieces and are pretty fast. If my badstilla goes before their’s and I get cbm on their badstilla, that prevents their badstilla from putting cbm on my team correct?

Maybe I need to keep a better eye on it but I always make sure my badstilla goes first but I always seem to get cbm on my team after theirs takes a turn

No. CBM is applied through a unique, not a basic or special ability, so it will still apply.

On the positive side, if your BSF is slower, she'll still be able to apply it to the opposing team.

So why does everyone fuss about having the faster badstilla, like the youtubers make it seem like it will make or break you if their badstilla is 1 point higher

It's to prevent the onslaught from Darth Revan's debuffs that usually swiftly follow BSF's turn I believe. Could be wrong.
