What can Malak safely 1v5? What about with zPalp?

I’m a fairly big whale and up until now I’ve never really had to worry about using undersized squads. I’ve never lost a GA; but I mostly just used full squads all the time because there wasn’t any point in using undersized squads in my matchups. With GAC, as I progress through the tiers, it seems like I may need to use him differently than I’m used to.

1. How do others use him in 1v5?
2. Is it worth putting him with zPalp? If so, offense or defense? Who else goes in the squad?

Allegedly malak and cup and tusken shaman are a more than decent defense squad..
