To Hoth or not to Hoth

So with GEO coming soon..and not being able to do both...and the launch of Hoth in 4 days, we are wanting to know should we do this Hoth or not. We intend to try GEO and don't want to get locked out of it if someone hits Hoth when it opens. We need a way as guild officers to lock Hoth from being hit.

Are you sure that’s how it’s going to work?

I have no idea, of course, but I’d have thought there’d be something like the raid launch option for officers.

I’d be astonished if Hoth was open and running and hittable for 2 days, and Geo was only an option if the whole guild had sat on their hands.

I am not sure that's how it works. They said officers would make that decision, so I'm assuming leadership has to select it first before it is available?

It'll be easier if they just credit a special ticket / token to every guild and to launch one of these TBs will require said ticket / token. Of course, you'd only have enough to launch one, just like raids.

Of course, but hoping to get an answer before someone hits hoth and locks us out of geo.

No that would cause people to jump guilds and abuse the system, someone could do 5 geo battles in a month and get ahead of everyone, I had the same idea but it wouldnt work

I just hope Geo doesn't crash too. Then we would be out of both Hoth & Geo rewards. I guess another day of double drops then lol

I don't see why any guild that can at least attempt the geonosian territory would pick Hoth. Even if it's horrendously difficult at least you'll have an idea of what you need to get to in order to grapple with it

i cannot imagine it will work like that OP, it will probably be a kind of selection like for Raids where the Officers can launch, so the officers will need to be on the same page :-)
I don't think any member can launch a TB on his own locking the whole guild from the other TB ;-)
Just wait and see, but i'm afraid Geo TB could end in a way worse experience than GAC was this week end

I checked with my employers and it turns out I have to decide for each guild. I'll need everyone to let me know by Tuesday, otherwise I will just hit Hoth for anyone who hasn't responded.

It's annoying because my guild is going for geonosis, so I'm not gonna get to 6 stars on my probe droid. Why should we scrap something fun just because you made a new version of it

I am the officer in my guild over TB, we are over the minimal requirements to join the geo TB that as a guild we decided to try, yet I don't see the option to even do the Geo TB. Anyone figure out how to even do the new TB. I see the Hoth one but no way to switch to Geo.
