Division scores needed to advance to kyber league

Maybe I missed something, but I don’t understand why in my division (Division 2) it takes much more points to advance to each higher league tier than it does in other divisions, but the lower divisions still receive the same rewards. They said one of the intents of how they are doing the GAC is to eliminate the incentive of not developing your roster to keep your GP low. But by making it take more points for high GP players to advance to the higher reward leagues but making the rewards the same across all divisions they are again providing an incentive to keep your GP lower as it will be quicker and easier to reach the higher league tiers in the lower GP brackets to earn the same rewards.

Can one of the devs reply to let me know what I’m missing?
