Yoda stealing Kylo's Retribution broken?

I sold Retribution from Kylo and gave it to my team in GW. Then was attacked by another Yoda and I didn't counter. Then Kylo did his AOE and my whole group should have countered but didn't.

    I stole from him last night, lol Kylo then done his AoE and my whole team attacked and killed him.
