Gear levels are fine. The event ends in 19 days so you need 8 vet chewy shards each day. Should be doable with a couple cantina energy refreshes daily.

Yeah, that's pretty alright. Finn's rework makes the event significantly easier.

The most difficult phase has you using Finn, Rey, and Chewie. If you can get one more gear level on Finn, all the better; he's also important after the event's over for hSith, making anything you slap on him a good investment long term.
