His kit is perfect as is but being that we had Alpha Brood have a unique effect maybe we could give one extra ability to First Order Stormtrooper.
When First Order Stormtrooper is active all allies gain 20% Tenacity and First Order Officer and First Order ally in the leader slot gains a new Special Ability called “Fire on Them!”

Revive First Order Stormtrooper if he is defeated.
If First Order Stormtrooper is active then another First Order Stormtrooper is summoned to ally spot if available with identical stats and abilities. Resistance enemies lose 50% Turn meter which cannot be evaded or resisted.
This ability starts on a 4 turn cooldown.

How about no, first order stormtrooper is already miles better than empire stormtrooper (which is more iconic character than any of thos that came from episode 7 or 8) and has worst stat, worst abilities and one of the worst Zetas in the game.
So no if there is a stormtrooper in need of buff, that is empire stormtrooper
