What does "properly geared" out mean?

I see this term in many places. Am i missing a mechanic here somewhere or is there a way to out fit your dudes with stuff other than what the equipment screen says? Am I misunderstanding the term?

No it just means the hero is at max or close to max gear level.

It means they are at the high gear level. Purple gear(gear 7) is what most consider proper. I consider proper being at least into their highest gear level myself.

It's for android only. Around 18:00 you'll get a free spring pack. It's in the same place were you collect the bronzium packs
