I'm not being stupid here (and please correct me if i am ) but a 5 star Dooku should not be faster than a 7star gear 8 should he? 3 matches in a row its gone before mine...(QGJ Lead both teams)

Star rating (and level, incidentally) has nothing to do with speed. If he's max gear then he's max speed.

Its gear not stars, gear is where full speed potential is reached

You know the '*' is not the fact that determines speed. So even a 1* Dooku could be at top speed (161) and has the chance to go before yours. If you say he always gets his attack before yours then it's just bad RNG for you.

It is all about gear. The Dooku may only be 5*, but it could be max gear.

I have a 4* dooku but 161 speed. Speed is one of the stats which only comes from gear

As everyone has said, gear is what determines speed. a 1* (impossible) Dooku has the same speed as a 7* Dooku if they both had max gear.

Whoever wins the coin flip goes first.
