Is this a good strategy?

Hey, I have a quick question on raid strategy here. So, if I were to put KRU(lead), FOE, FOO, Thrawn, and Palps on a team for Darth Traya, then use stand alone on FOE, he would get plus 300% health, right? Supports give + 100% max health, so Thrawn, Palps, and FOO are all supports. Would this allow me to do some solid damage to traya?

  • In theory...

There's a few things to throw cold water on the idea though unfortunately. The mechanic grants 100% of the support character's health to FOX. So you'll get fox health + KRU health + FOO health + Thrawn health + EP health. KRU's health is pretty decent but the rest are quite small to be honest. Then FOX only converts 5% of that additional health to offense which would turn out being not that much more than maybe double his normal offense (if that) and he'll only gain those benefits for 2 turns (one basic and one special attack).

certainly not an awful idea though and worth trying out.

For future reference the best FO based teams in the sith raid are from highest to lowest damage:

P1: KRU, FOO, FOX, Kylo, Traya
P1: KRU, FOO, FOX, Kylo, Thrawn
P2: KRU, FOO, FOX, FOST, Sabine/Zaalbar
P2: KRU, FOO, FOX, FOST, Thrawn
P1: KRU, FOO, FOX, Kylo, Phasma
P2 or P4(after nihilus): KRU, FOO, FOX, Kylo, FOSFTP

Except kru hits like a soggy noodle compared to most others.

Use zRaid HAN with 4 attackers

According to this, the user of stand alone doesn’t gain the max health kr everyone else, but instead gains 100% max health

"Suppressed allies grant this unit a portion of their stats based on their roles."

    I think Eduardo is right.
  • From personal experience he does more damage but nothing game-changing.

FOX does best when you can do a long run and let him keep taking turns without getting a kill, so his health can keep stacking up. He only converts 5% of his health to offense, so he needs a LOT to start cranking out crazy numbers.

None of the phases of HSTR (I'm assuming we're talking Heroic here) really let you do this. You can do some alright damage in phases 1 and 2 with FO + Traya, but not usually more than a couple million unless you have some truly unreasonable mods.
