Another Reached Rank 1 Thread!
I know one of these pop up almost everyday but I finally reached rank 1 today for the first time. I have been playing since early December and have generally been satisfied with taking top 20 without using refreshes on my server but I noticed today I was rank 19 an hour before my payout so I decided today would've been as good of a day as any. I won all 5 of my battles to get to rank 1 with about 5 minutes to go and then bought a refresh to block out second place. I run an HK led droid team so it is still possible for droids to succeed in arena with a bit of luck and being smart with who you attack. Link to pictures below.

Btw, where are you from (I'm asking in terms of time zone)? I also think that things a easier for me, bc I'm from Ukraine (UTC +02:00) and there are little people from my time zone in top-50.

Yep, I take number 1 a lot and according to some people I'm a bad player with bad toons playing all day spending lots of refreshes. In reality I'm f2p and reup attacks once and refresh battles once to keep rank 1-3. congrats OP, job well done.

Btw, at this point, droid teams led by HK-47 are the easiest for me to beat on our server. Success rate is around 85%. They are really bad on defence by AI. On the other hand, these teams give a possibility to move further, while currently I'm not able to beat teams with GS and Rey below #20 in order to move further.
Yeah I switched to droids right when they changed the speed mechanics and I was not interested in farming up QGJ/GS. I usually do slide about 30 places between my arena times so you're not the only one who is targeting droids. I actually only avoid other droids on our server to avoid a Poe coin toss and the couple of guys using 5 characters that outspeed Poe. Really though any team is bad with the AI controlling it.

I just broke top 20 for the first time and I was pretty chuffed.
Nute lead, Leia RG QGJ and Lando.
Started playing in late December and I dropped 200$ right off the bat.
Congrats to us both. Droid teams are actually the hardest for me to beat. I'm too **** slow. Can't wait to see how my team does at 80, I'll probably drop Leia and QGJ.
