Star Wars fan fiction and legends

What if you guys did something like what you were doing with February being the like old republic dark side month, and you had a month where every year you would do a sort of fan fiction legends thing, and you could add characters form legends as well as things all the fans have wanted to see in Star Wars like a Mace Windue who survived episode three, or you can add Mara Jade, and characters who just haven’t made the on screen debut at all.

As far as fan fiction goes, they would never be able to do that, due to licensing and other legal stuff.
