Getting back to the OP ...
It's NOT confirmed that the new movie will return to Endor or the Forest Moon. The article you linked to has a screen shot from the trailer and then effectively says "hey, this might be Endor!" Might.
That's not the same thing at all as "confirmed".

And even if it is Endor, there's no evidence at all (other than the hope of some fans) that the Ewoks will feature.

It's probably best not to spread rumours and fan wishes as "confirmed" or "facts". It can be annoying for others. Thanks.

Hey CG, now that it's confirmed that Episode 9 will visit Endor (or the "forest moon of Endor"), would you please give us some new murder bears? Ewoks are my fav faction and what got me into this game.

If nothing, we know Kylo Ren has even been there to recover Vader's mask also, so do something special for this tribute to the original series. :) There were two entire (made for TV) movies based on the Ewoks also, so again, give us some more cute and cuddly deadly teddies :)

    Thanks,

Nothing is confirmed. Dead Star remains in trailer are not on forrest Moon of Endor.

"The return to Endor and the presence of Ewoks in the upcoming film has also been confirmed by Making Star Wars, a reliable website when it comes to “Star Wars” spoilers."

    and

"The Ewoks will also be back, but they will not play a significant role and will be there for nostalgia."

All the OT fanboys that give the Ewoks a pass are hypocrites. Worst part of the OT and how they took down far superior tech was horrible. No reason a bunch of small bears should defeat armored soldiers with blasters and vehicles. Worst thing ever, but hey lests blast episodes 1-3 and 7-8.

Perhaps a bad example but didn't the US have far superior tech in the Vietnam war... I wonder who won?

Pleass name one major battle the US lost in Vietnam. The US “lost” the war due to politics back home. The North VC new all they had to do to “win” was to wait the war out. The US media did all the work for them.

The Tet Offensive comes to mind just off the top of my head. They were in a war propping up a government more corrupt than the North Vietnamese, that in a sense they pushed Ho Chi Minh to the Russians and Chinese. The N. Vietnamese originally tried to enlist the help of the US in their struggle for independence from the French (back when America still stood for anti imperialism).
But at the time, Eisenhower and then Kennedy were too busy with Cuba, and didn't help...
Oversimplified all of that, I know, but in a forum about an EA game about Star Wars, it seems adequate enough.
The point the Ewok fans are trying to make, is that very often in history, you can be too powerful, and get taken down by your own arrogance by ones you never suspected.

That still doesn't count as confirmation; just more speculation being dressed up as fact.
I remember all the "confirmed spoilers" about TFA before it came out, most of which turned out to be rubbish.

How about we just wait for the film before we start saying things are confirmed or not or asking for new characters for this game who might not even be in the film?

Ideally, we should avoid spoilers altogether in this forum but we should definitely avoid insisting rumours are facts just because.
