Bonus currency?

Can anyone tell me why I just got around 1500 extra bonus currency for PVP. I accidentally claimed it before I could read why.

The achievement unlocked by beating 500 opponents in the arena gives 1.5k arena chips.

I'm assuming there was a bug a few days ago where PVP prizes were given out twice. Happened to me.

I had some blue box pop up yesterday in the main cantina view but I pressed the character button a split second later and didn't get a chance to see it, no extra credits or crystals though so I have no idea what it was.
