Sad day, mace is an icon and the fact that he is not getting fixed is a terrible decision. I don’t care if they can’t make money off of it. Why can’t they give fans something for once? This is just another in a long list of bad decisions that they keep making.
People have been hoping he'll get a "real" rework for two years, at least. Didn't expect it to happen before they clarified it, don't expect it to happen any time soon. Even though they have a reworked version on the AI side you have to face, which is pretty frustrating to play against. "See this? Yeah, you can't have it. nyah nyah!"
CG is putting the game on cruise control and sun-setting the game. New content will be rescind, 6• A-E mods, Level 85-100, new Relics, etc s. Basically just them nerfing stuff in order to monetize new levels/mods/relics.
I have to say I’m very disappointed by this. It doesn’t even have to be a big time rework. Just do something like this (stats are G13 I believe, no relics):
Health: 36k to 45k
Protection: 39k to 50k
Basic: Increase 5.7k damage to 7.5k. Change “if below 50% health” triggers to “if Mace has no protection” and change recover health to recovers protection.
Special: Increase 9.5k damage to 13k damage and reduce cooldown to 2
Leader: Increase 20% offense boost to 50%, 5% health recovery changed to 15% protection.
Unique: Change 45% chance to expose random enemy to 75% chance to expose each enemy. Increase 25% TM gain to 40%
Pretty much the exact same kit. All I did was scale in to be more useful after all the power creep. He’s still not meta, but he at least took a leap forward. With some useful Jedi and GR synergies I could see him being useful at least. And it took me longer to type up than it did to come up with.
