New symbols on squad screen?

I'm in TW and clicked on squads. I have exclamation marks on several toons. What do they mean?

Those are characters that are assigned to multiple squads.

Try unchecking the unique only box.

Probably toons you have set up in more than one squad

What is even the purpose of having that option? Why does it matter if a guy is in more than 1 squad?

Handy when pre-crafting regular defence squads or raid teams? Saves potential brain farts removing a key character from one of your teams.

I use more than Jawas. I have Imperials, some crappy Jedi, and some crappy Phoenix.
