How good is B1’s relic? It seems like all it will do is add Offense, considering it doesn’t get any benefit from health, protection, crit chance or damage, Defense, or tenacity, and that relics don’t offer speed.
Is the increased Offense and Potency that big a difference-maker?
I’m g12+ for all of them but missing finishers. Who is most important?
Also, putting assaj as leader is a punch in the face as she gives no benefits.
In phase 2, relic GK is a must I think. I completed that one with all others at g12.
In phase 4, I couldn’t get near it until I took b1 to r4. I also had to put zeta on Droideka too. Of the other toons, AV was r3 but the others (B2, Droideka, Magna) were just g12.
It’s the fact that B1 is assisting all the time that means his relic level is so needed. If he’s r7 I reckon you’ll be chasing RNG for significantly less time than those who have him lower.

GG is top 4 defensive team, relic B1 is key for that to work. It takes quite a while for a top 4 team to completely fall out of grace, easily a few years.

I have the R7 B1 hopefully is enough. I dont want to spend to many gears on droids to G13 them all
Should be good with that. I did it with B1 and Ventress at R3/4 with the rest still g12 and no droidekka zeta. Droidekka's zeta helps a fair bit too in toppling Anakin.
There are lots of different ways to do it. FWIW, GK, zzPadme, zSnips at relic 3+ really helps, others g12 for phase 2. Relics on droideka, B1, b2 help, needed on droideka if you don’t have his zeta. B1 zeta a must. AV is a piece of steaming garbage. I had her R7 anyway, she still dies first, and barely does any damage.

Your Padme team would be able to get away with P2 after several attempts, but you'll need more relics on GK.
You'll need at least G12 on all your droids though with B1 preferably at r3-5+.

You seem to forget what part of team B1 is needed. Having a galactic legend dosen’t matter if you can’t get past a sep droid defence
I got him first time as f2p and that makes me a failure because the best f2p get things on the second run, because why bother?
Btw Edward, good luck completing the event with a g12 b1, you can try a thousand times and I'm almost sure it won't work.

There are a few ways to do this event. I made it so Droideka was my DPS... Some use B1. All depends.

Yeah of course, I'm talking about the minimum. You can do it with b1 G12 and some of the others relic'ed, but it isn't "economic".
