Oh lord are they behind the pace... I mean I thought a monthly Q&A would be nice but they just dodge any questions that are important .... Hopefully we can get a State of the Galaxy at least every 3 months. The Road Ahead has also been non-existent since that post....
Not quite, since that post there was another State of the Galaxy at the end of September and an Road Ahead in late November.
Ok fair enough, still though... 2 State of the Galaxies over 5 months? (zero since sept) and 1 Road Ahead, though they did word it so they could be off the hook for monthly Road Aheads..

Turns out they were planning on a State of the Galaxy today.
I actually don’t mind them slowly releasing the requirements, but I hope it’s not first the list of characters and then power requirements. Knowing that I need FO and Resistance characters isn’t very useful if I find out in March that they all need to be 21k power.

Disagree, I'd much rather know which characters are required since the power is all but a given at this point.

It’s a new type of event. Rose may only need g10 for it. I’d hate to relic her and find out she only need g10 lol.
I would like to start gearing them up immediately, but I need an end target to make sure I don’t gear the bad ones too much.

Rose may not be needed at all, so you wouldn't hate to to take her to G10 and then not even have to use her?
as long as there are no stun guns involved, taking someone from g10 to g11 should cause no regrets. At that point, I'd stop and wait. Going to g12 takes enough of the less-common gear that I wouldn't want to do it without being certain it's needed. The downside, of course, is that it can be hard to take things from g11 right up to relics in less than a week if it turns out G13 is needed.
IIRC, though, Rose needs stun guns at both g8 and g9, so just getting to g10 is going to take some significant investments.
Back to the topic of the thread, however, I still maintain that we need a brief weekly update about ongoing issues, not-yet-answered questions from the community, etc. It would be even better if there was an even briefer follow-up a day or two later, but only as necessary to deal with issues specific to what was already in the last update, (Things like, "Yep, I did say "Hard node" but meant "cantina"" and other things that are both fairly trivial and directly relate to the content of the weekly update itself.) This mini-update is just to make sure that random small errors get fixed and small ambiguities get clarified without waiting a needless week.
But even without such a small follow up as needed (not necessarily even every week), just a weekly checkin would do a world of good for CG/player-base communications and good faith.

Like always. You KNOW that the reqs will include the new toons
a 2 month panic? hmm
Yes, a 2-month panic farm.
Better get started now! Which nodes are these new toons available on again?
the new ones? none yet.
