Remnants of the bug

I've been here before. But as I lost all my Malak shards from the bug (ones I earned before the bug but never activated Malak) and I can't get any as rewards from completing the event again, I have no way to activate Malak! EA Help tells me to wait for the rewards to show up. We know that's not how it works. Please can someone help me here! I've been playing for almost 3 years now and feel like this shouldn't be an issue that's ignored.
