Interesting thing happened out of my Bronzium Pack today

Clone Sergeant - Phase I character dropped.

Here's what was interesting. When he opened, he was upgraded to 2* (and has seven shards into 2*). I didn't have to promote him, didn't have to pay, nothing like that. He just *was* 2*. I seem to recall that a character pull usually says something like "You already have this character so we are converting into shards" but this didn't, did I hit skip and miss it or something?

I think there is some kind of bug with the clone sergeant where there is two copies like a phase 1 and phase 2 but they give shards for the same character...something like that...I had it happen to me and there was a post awhile back
