What happened to:

The team will continue our same focus on Galaxy of Heroes (albeit now remotely) and coordinate releases as usual. We know many of you have some additional time on your hands and we are looking into doing something fun to help fill your time at home.


A seriously paywall event isnt something for everyone.

Reuse what's in game if necessary, but give us something as you promised!

As they “promised”? Looking into doing something is not a promise to do something, nor is it a promise to have done something by a date you yourself decided was the deadline.

A better statement would’ve been,

“Thanks for looking out for us CG! Shows us how much you care. ”

It implies that there wasn’t an expectation of an event, however it shows how much CG cares for the player base. Considering they were thinking of helping us cope with boredom but ultimately decided not to because they don’t give a To the player base.
