While trying to beat challenge tier 2 with night sisters I discovered that all stats are being reset after after each round. My one idea to beat sidious on round 4 was to boost the offense on Asajj. Round 1 she starts out hitting around 15k damage. By the end of round 1 I have her offense boosted and she is hitting 350k. Then round 2 starts and her offense has been reset and back to hitting 15k. Most events carry stats over between rounds. Not sure if this was intentional or not for this event.

This is working as intended. Asajj and Daka's bonuses always reset between waves of any battle or raid, as the abilities state they last "until the end of the encounter". An encounter is one wave or phase of a battle or raid.

For stats from abilities to carry on stacking through waves/phases they need to say "until the end of the battle", Young Han being one example.
