New Character Idea (Chancellor Palpatine)

Chancellor Palpatine - Dark Side, Leader, Galactic Republic, Separatist, Sith, Support

High Protection and tenacity. Low defense and speed.

Basic - Dispel all buffs from target enemy. Disable that enemy's faction tags until the end of their next turn.

Special 1 - 4 turn cooldown - Palpatine and allies that are not a Protector or Apprentice gain stealth and Critical Immunity for 3 turns. All allies recover 30% health and gain health steal up and protection up (30%) for 2 turns.

Zeta - Revive a single defeated ally at 50% health and protection.

Leader - Puppetmaster - At the beginning of battle select 1 light side and one dark side ally, and activate both of their leader abilities.

Zeta - Light side allies gain 10% evasion and recover 10% protection when evading an attack. Dark Side allies gain 10% life steal and gain 10 speed every time an enemy is defeated.

Unique 1 - Chancellor Palpatine can target stealthed enemies and ignores taunts. When an ally falls below 100% health all allies gain 25% turn meter and foresight for 2 turns. When an ally falls below 50% health all allies gain 25% turn meter and reduce their cooldowns by 1. When an ally is defeated all allies gain 10% turn meter, critical damage, evasion, and speed (stacking) until the end of battle.

Unique 2 - Palpatine grants the light side ally with the highest max HP as his Protector and the dark side ally with the highest base offense as his Apprentice.

Protector - Gains 20% defense, tenacity, max HP, and Protection. The protector gains 50% counter chance. When this character receives a critical hit they gain health up and taunt for 2 turns. The enemy that landed the critical hit gains healing immunity for 2 turns.

Apprentice - Gains 20% offense, accuracy, critical chance, and potency. The Apprentice ignores Taunt. When this character lands a critical hit they gain offense up and critical damage up for 2 turns. The enemy that received the critical hit gains buff immunity for 2 turns.

    This kit is overly wordy and very likely to cause infinite loops in SEVERAL different ways.

    I think you should just sleep with Ian McDiarmid and get it out of your system.

  • Who of this is OP. That said, I think the idea of negating an enemy's faction for a turn is interesting. Maybe you could also do it to an ally? Eg being q rebel or a jedi against Vader or EP is undesirable.
