How are tiebreakers determined

For example, if two people solo the Rancor raid who will be first? And if let's say 10 people score zero and only one person solos it who would be second. Is it just random rng?

You are assigned a random rank between 1-50 as you join/sign up to the raid.

Results are decided by score first, then ties are decided by the ranking, with 1 placing highest and 50 placing last.

For example, if your entire guild solos the Rancor raid following a 24 hour sign up period, everyone's position at the end of the raid will be the same as at the start.
