SEE definitely needs a buff!

Sure she's useful, but there's just not much there anymore. And with 14 high relic characters needed the cost is obviously much higher.

    I don't know what the answer is, because the kit seems like a cool idea and a novel one too. But instead it's just exceptionally underwhelming. And I know we need to start limiting power creep a bit but this just feels like a travesty. It wasn't easy upgrading every character to get here, then sitting through a week's worth of ticket farming just to unlock him, then to have to sit through another 2 weeks to farm the ultimate that by all intents and purposes, doesn't really do much.

    I think if you're a brand new account and you unlock SEE quickly you'll be happy for a tiny bit until someone in your shard unlocks Kylo, then your tiny advantage disappears pretty quickly. But for an established account this is like unlocking an old legendary that isn't all that good anymore.

    SEE is deeply linked with his ultimate, more than any other GL. He lurks in the shadows accumulating power then reveals itself and bring on the storm, at least he was presented that way. If you don't have the ultimate, he just lurks.
    I do agree that so far, ultimate see users seem disappointed, no argument there. But it's unfair to judge him without his ultimate imo.

    I have his ult and he is still underwhelming. even his ult damage is bad. he loses all survival during ult. he has no battlefield control at all to keep his squishy sith alive long enough to get to ult.
    If you don't have treya as an ally then AB just screws him cause when he ults he doesn't clear his debuffs.

    all other gls can beat him with little effort (i have a shard mate who used 4 different rey teams to beat my see. titans, full resistance, rey droids, and even random stall units.) slkr solos him. LS bast L with wat and JML beats SEE with ease. just use JML, whos faster, to increase SEE cooldowns so he can't even use link. then use AB to stop him. Prot up completely neuters his prot steal

    And this is what everyone who has the ultimate says, hence why I'm so pessimistic about it. If they really want him to be "lurking in the shadows, controlling the battlefield" they need to make it to where his team is hard to kill while he's in pre-ultimate phase. It's not like the team does a ton of damage anyway at that point so making them harder to kill isn't going to be gamebreaking.

    Honestly if they just added "while in pre-ultimate form all Sith allies have +200% defense" that alone might make the team more viable. Or make it +so much defense "whenever a sith ally has protection"

    The later two = equal more overall damage.

    Er, yeah. That. Totally didn’t mess up the math and think that Tactics Attackers got less flat damage bonus than Strength/Agility.
  • They are not good toons. Rey and SLKR were awesome but this is definitely sub par for a GL.

    It will be the upcoming death star raid. You can use him to shoot down ships.

    SEE real true use is in the death star ship raid. Good to know.

    Hmmm was thinking on how to improve SEE... His kit seems ok and relations to power I think the GLs all have the same power.

    Just that light side has super titan toons while Dark side has normal toons (JKL vs FO)

    So what I think SEE need is another legendary toon to go with it. Like Malak to DR. Because DR on its own is a B team... Malak made all the difference.

    So unless this is what u guys want...
    Then for SEE a faction specialised tank that make use of SEE ultimate

    And for GML, a specialized support toon that utilise GML ultimate.

    Use a health only tank with a leader that restores protection?

    That link prevents crits so malak can't fear and regain taunt. cause a non locked taunt might as well be trivial with how much buff removal there is.

    SEE kit directly contradicts 2 of the 3 sith tanks

    Well he isn't a Sith (that we know of) but if they do a legendary with the Mando characters and it is Moff Gideon then who knows, maybe he'll fit the bill.

    Hard to imagine thematically a military strategist like Gus Fring would be a tank, but you never know.

    I actually think my earlier suggestion refined a bit more could help. Make it "Sith tank allies get +200% defense when they have protection." That way attackers like Vader or Maurader who can do some decent damage aren't super difficult to kill, but it would make up for the shortcomings Malak and Sion have when on this team.

    No matter what though it seems like Sith Empire Trooper is going to be a big part of this team as the only Sith tank that isn't being castrated by SEE's rules

    actually that team was found out when GLs first came out. most top end guilds ran it for a bit.

    I know on my arena shard it was around for a few players but they stopped using it cause they would drop like a rock.
  • Well, i've completely given up counting how many counters SEE has now. Starting to wonder what on earth they tested this character against before they launched it..

    Rey kills ultimate SEE.
    JML kills ultimate SEE.
    Kylo kills ultimate SEE.
    Kylo can 1v5 ultimate SEE.
    JTR leads kill ultimate SEE.
    Imperial Troopers kill ultimate SEE.
    Palpatine lead kills ultimate SEE.
    Vader lead kills ultimate SEE.
    Treya lead kills ultimate SEE.
    Some DR lead teams can kill ultimate SEE.


    ..Then you have non ultimate SEE counters which include the above and also..


    SithEmpire full squads.
    Padme.
    Nightsisters.
    Geo bugs.
    General Grievous.

    I'm confident even more will pop up shortly.


    Videos to all these counters can be found on the forums or on Youtube as stand alone videos or in streamers videos.


    I could go on to say a lot more about his kit and how a lot of it does not make sense but instead i will just leave this here and hope you all agree that SEE needs a serious kit work up..

    There are always going to be counters to meta teams, so I get people being upset at counters like this, but it's probably gonna happen. Having the meta team means opponents have to develop these counter teams instead of (or on top of) getting their own GLs, and are using a squad that's probably terrible on defense (well... kind of like SEE/DR vs jedi right now, unfortunately). Even SLKR has that hilarious 5s counter squad based on CG hardcoding SLKR to be "smart." There is some precedent (SLKR) for a meta team being buffed like crazy to deter an easy counter like underman GAS vs SLKR (gee, seems kinda like solo SLKR vs SEE!). But the bigger problem is the deep issues in SEE's kit and mechanics that make him dysfunctional and unable to adequately fulfill the role that was promised, to a level against pre-existing dominant teams in pvp or in any other game mode that anyone would expect from a GL that they've invested in.

    okay but i saw an Ahnald video where SEE is declared to be "GOD TIER" with "UNLIMITED POWER!" when he manages to ride along with a max relic triumvirate squad in TB Phase 1, and manages to hit ultimate at the end of wave 4 but then there's no linked on the enemy squad and the triumvirate kill everything on their own before he uses Unlimited Power. But "god tier" was in all caps so maybe we've got it all wrong.

  • He literally does nothing for his team an he barely puts out damage at all.. Characters from 3 years ago hit harder than SEE does. He has no defensive viability at all either.

    I wouldnt even class him as a legendary, hes just a garbage fire right now.
  • Maybe people need to find the right team with him. Not just classic trium or dr.

    Like jml, lots of comp were easy defeated. But once you get the right one with proper modding. Not the same deal
