Anyone noticed a bug with Rex Ariel Advantage

I noticed in grand arena I was facing regular and unmasked kylo in a shaak ti lineup with Rex and fives. The battle timed out as Rex Ariel advantage wasn't stacking damage? And by the end of the battle was still hitting like a noodle?
