Best way to use training droids?

Is there a most efficient way to use training droids? I know choosing assign all used to choose the higher tier droids first, but now it seems to do the opposite. Which way is the most efficient?

No gimmick to it.. just leave some room for your Tier 1 droids so you arent overspending. I mean dont use t3 to get to max level..if it requires 80 t3.. use 70 t3 or however many you desire.. then some t2.. some t1.. finish it off with t1. That way you are always using the least amount of droid exp needed.
