Late registration and consistently low placing in HSR

I’m told that it’s RNG
This is a valid claim. Perhaps game designers can explain it.
Whenever I join for late for registration which is usually late, I’m placed in 31-40 column.
After a solo, it CONSISTENTLY places me at the end of the solos. I often post the solo early and then everyone who was ranked above in registration passea me with their solos. Or I solo a little later,
And similar low placings, or right at the back end.

    That makes sense though.

It sorts by score first, then the pre-assigned ranks are used to break ties.

If you have placed low in the RNG rank assigning before the raid begins, you'll be low in the tie breaks too. Anyone that was below you before the raid starts cannot be above you if you both solo.

In case of ties the order is determined by the order you were randomly assigned when you joined. How fast you complete the raid is irrelevant.

If you can prove that your random rank is in the 31-40 range far too often you would have a valid claim.

  • Joining late it’s just low ranking for registration. That part seems to be too consistent to be rng. That’s the part that doesn’t seem random is what I’m saying.

If you can prove it you would have a valid claim. How often did you rank in the 31-40 range? And how often in other ranks? How many participants in each raid?
  • Near full participants

I’m in 31-40 range the majority of registration

Was a comment. This seems logical to me,

The preassigned ranks are random though

i've joined raids super early and ended up at the bottom of the ranking list

I've joined raids late and shot up to top 10 spots before

raid placement isn't first come first served
  • Yeah, this doesn’t reflect reality sadly.

Best advice is for you to start taking a note of where you are ranked before attacks open every time. If you are truly consistently 31-40, you’ve got a case. Until then, this will always reek of confirmation bias.

I understand that you feel you are - but what does your data tell you? How often did you actually rank in the 31-40 range? How often on other ranks?

  • Majority of the time 31-40
  • Majority of the time 31-40

Just to make sure we're on the same page, that's not data. Data would like this :

In the last 12 HSith raids which I have solo'd and hit max damage, I finished in these slots...
In game name: Lucas Gregory - - - -"Whale blah grump poooop." - Ouchie

    In game guild: TNR Uprising
I beat the REAL T7 Yoda (not the nerfed one) and did so before mods were there to help

If you wish to have a valid claim you really need to base your claim on facts - not feelings.

To add to the above, any values at all would at least help.

Landing there in the majority of 10-20 times is not significant. Also it helps to know if you have full participation at that point or at the end. If not the last 31-40 listed players can have numbers from 31-50 as their value.

There are so many factors, you need to collect and/or provide a lot more detail to even get this started as a valid claim.

When was the last time someone making these claims actually bothered to start collecting data?

Might as well close the thread. It won't happen any more than we can convince this person that they are wrong.

I guess the only logical move is to join earlier?
Maybe End Game isn't for you
