Galactic challenge fives sacrifise not working properly

I noticed that if you use the special event ability after the fives sacrifise, that you lose health and protection (and probably also the other stats). It seems that the stats reset to the stats without the sacrifise bonus.
Did anyone else notice that?

Fives, to my knowledge, still gives negative protection when he dies in the KAM mission. Low profitability = low priority.

What I mean is when he dies he gives his stats, but when you use the event ability, the stats from fives dissappear.

Two stat changing occurrences don't interact correctly in the world of spaghetti code and a single-time GC, which also has a persistent bug where higher tiers don't give credit for all previous tiers?!?!? Be still my beating heart!
