Enfys Nest Nerf

This happens with too many teams. The newest and greatest Imperial Troopers (Gideon and Piett) can’t take down a 3 year-old character. Rebels, with their shiny new Threepio & Chewie can’t take her out either. I love using Enfys on offense against Ewoks or other weaker teams, but I’ve never had this kind of luck with meta teams. Maybe I should just put her on defense and hope for the best? Still, she should not be this strong! Nowhere in the lore does she “take a lot of hits and stall the enemy army” or anything. Perhaps her Unique ability can be reworked to say “If Enfys Nest takes more than 100 hits in a row without taking a turn, and has more than 5 debuffs, she losses all bonus protection for 1 turn.”

It's al,ost like you need to consider kits before going into battle and almost like not every team can beat any other team...
  • It almost sound like he wants power creep

There's an easier fix. Don't use teams with high turn meter removal or turn meter gain against her. It's a mistake we all make at least once.

...or just bring a character with an insta-kill. Doesn't matter what nest's protection pool is if you can just 1-shot her.
Or, and this works for almost every team nest counters, stop using abilities and just basic spam.
There's a reason most people use nest for offense instead of defense, because her kit is actually very easy to work around.

JTR is essentially an infinite loop against a single target.
But if you just stop using specials, suddenly it's not.

CLS might take a bit, and depending on how efficient time-wise you were you might still time out, but again, you can just stop using CLS' special that removes TM. You'll get 1 solid hit in after each of her turns.

Or you can use the very few characters that ignore protection, like Sith Assassin.

You have both team choice AND in-battle strategy options. She's WAI, and doesn't even remotely need to be nerfed. You just need to learn to play better.

His basic also removes tm, as does Han's. Just pretty much a good idea to never use CLS.

CLS isn't that simple with an optimal line up. Han will remove TM on basic, so does Threepio, and also CLS if the target has speed down, which Nest is almost guaranteed to have.

Then there is all the TM they are generating for themselves through debuffs. 2 on both CLS basic and special, Chewbacca has two moves that inflict debuffs, Confuse from Threepio, Chewpio has debuffs on basic and special. That's all before the Exposes generated by Threepio's unique. Decent rebels is a pretty much guaranteed time out against a slow Nest.

CLS works, but you shouldn't use C3PO

Imperial troopers work to, but you need to use snowtrooper and/or deathtrooper to kill her faster
  • Hit nest, hit other things until she goes, hit her some more, hit other things...

But if you're removing 3PO for that reason, you're saying the person has an awareness of Nest's kit, and then you might as well use another counter and save your optimal CLS team for elsewhere.

  • Darth Nihilus says hi.

I doubt this player has the kit knowledge to do that against a good Nest. He will probably accidentally hit her with an AOE on 2 of the Empire toons.

CLS is a high risk for stun lock. You are far better off just using Nihilus.
    1000x > better off.
Stunlocking Nest with CLS = battle over for u

Stun-lock just means keeping the target stunned. That is actually desirable against Nest.

The problem with a CLS squad, as others have pointed out, is all the TM reduction they apply to the target. That is not stun-lock.

Kill one of the squad to gain Deathmark from Death Trooper.
